Gold City Grill in Oroville

Our group was visiting friends in Oroville and we enjoyed our meals. We Missourians won't be in this city again as those friends have moved away. We definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Delicious food, large portions, friendly staff

The Kooks and environment is nice but the waitresses are lazy and you'll wait forever they don't do a good job don't go to place no more

Large portions, good, friendly service. My wife and I have been going here for years. We always look forward to coming here. As an older couple, we usually split a plate - and still often take food home. Good, hearty food.Plenty of parking, often very busy. I'd say this is one of two of the local's favorites. I don't think there's a better diner in town. I'm happy to recommend it.

ALWAYS A FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE! THE PRICES ON MENU MAY SCARE SOME WHO ARE MAYBE TRYING TO SAVE A LITTLE BUT YOU GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND ITS GOOD. GREAT FAMILY PLACE AS WELL AND WILLING TO PLAY AROUND WITH ORDERS TO ACCOMADATE ALL MEAL STYLES.

I was up visiting my kids and took my son to lunch I ordered the BLT my son ordered the Club sandwich these were by far the best sandwiches I have ever had and the potato salad is too die for you have to try it delicious 😋 and the best service you can ever get.

Our 'Cow Cafe'. Consistantly good menu, good service, and friendly staff. Currently outside dining and takeout only. Noisy being on a main road, and having to fight flies, they are doing their best to maintain being our 'Cow Cafe'

Burger deal is excellent--good double cheeseburger and season fries and drink for 7 bucks. Poached eggs good. Biscuits and gravy....ehhh. Standard Dennys style. Not good, home made, or big. Service was good, the place clean and we will be back.

We met with friends at this restaurant for dinner. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The staff members were extremely nice and we had a great feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. Warmly recommended.

The worst place I've ever been in my entire life!! The waitress was horrendous and the food was nothing like in the menu. I ordered omelet and what I got was a scramble egg and bacon and when I talked to the waitress she was so rude. I will never recommend this place to anyone and warn my friends not to even set a foot in there!!!

Best broster chicken I've had in my life

The BEST fried chicken in the entire county. Their famous seasoned broaster chicken is cooked to order, so it is served right from the skillet/oven. You would have to wait about 15 to 20 minutes for your food, but it was so juicy that it was dripping uncontrollably down my mouth when I took my very first bite. It was crispy and packed with flavors on the outside, while staying tender and meaty on the inside. The cornbread was outstanding, one of the most scrumptious that I have ever tasted. It was moist and buttery, like eating a delicious piece of cake. The service is the most excellent that you can receive, the very finest Southern (in this case Northern) hospitality. It's funny that they are known for their broaster chicken but they have a cow as their mascot standing on top of their roof.

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are appetizing and the stuff is generous and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we pass a lovely evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

I went with a buddy to have breakfast a few days ago, first thing I noticed when we were shown to our seats was the silverware that was set in front of me still had food on it. I didn't make a big deal I understand that they probably don't handwash everything and just use a dishwashing machine and it doesn't always get all the food off. Then they bring my buddy his coffee and it had a huge red lipstick lip print on it. Again we don't fuss just show the waitress she immediately apologizes and goes to get a new coffee. Our food comes out and it's all delicious even after looking passed the previous little hiccups. Would I eat there again? Probably. Taste wise the food was good just those little cleanliness issues are what would hold me back from choosing to eat there again. Even though I hear that this place has the same owners as Cornucopia I still prefer Cornucopia.
